What can you get in our taprooms?
We offer pints and 10oz pours as well as flights and beer/seltzer to go, including 4 packs (16oz. cans) as well as 32 & 64 oz growlers. We also offer several Non-Alcoholic beverage options and Big Elm merchandise is for sale at both taprooms too.
We also encourage you to bring in food with you or definitely consider ordering from one of the many amazing restaurants, bakeries and stores near by. We have Take-Out menus available at both taprooms but just keep in mind that not all businesses deliver and some do close early while others don’t open until later.
Sheffield Brewery & Taproom
Our Brewery & Taproom are right around the corner from several businesses including: Roberto’s Pizza, The Marketplace Kitchen and Cafe, Bakin’ Bakery and the Frog Restaurant.
We are just down the street from our friends at Berkshire Mountain Distillers and Sunset Meadow of Massachusetts, they both have tasting rooms and delicious products, so definitely plan on checking them out while in the area.
Great Barrington Taproom
Our newest taproom finally opened in October 2022 just north of downtown GB. We share a parking lot with various businesses including Vivaldi’s Pizzeria, Aegean Breeze (Mediterranean), and Agave Mexican Grill. You are more than welcome to bring theirs or any other restaurants food to enjoy at our taproom.
We are also just down the street from the Barrington Brewery & Restaurant, please visit them and enjoy their food and beer!
Things To Do In The Berkshires
The Berkshires are an amazing place with great people, views, eats, hikes, drinks, etc. If you are coming here to visit the brewery please try to enjoy some of the other great stuff. There are places to hike from a nice stroll at Bartholomew's Cobble to the workout you can get going up Monument Mountain and many others. Skiing at the hills of Butternut (just down the road from our newest taproom), Catamount, Jiminy Peak up north and a handful of other small places is awesome in the winter and the Bike and Board shop can help you get around on snow or asphalt. There are so many great museums like the MASSive MASS MoCA up north to so many other great little treasures in every town. If you like live entertainment then you probably have heard of Tanglewood or Jacob's Pillow Dance for good reason, but there are also theaters and festivals all over the place. If you need a place to stay there are heaps of great B&Bs as well as many other options including the historic Red Lion Inn and of course the Berkshires are home to some of the best chefs in the country so go get some food. We also have some other friends in the beer biz around such as Wandering Star in Pittsfield, the solar brewed Barrington Brewery and many others all over Western MA, check them out and support them too, we love beer and we want more of it just like you.
